Mobile court operated by Department of Environment, Sherpur District Office to control noise pollution.
Details
On 18/07/2022 AD under the "Integrated and Partnership Project to Control Noise Pollution", the Department of Environment, Sherpur District Office conducted a mobile court in Satani Mathuradi area of Sreebardi Upazilla of Sherpur District for violation of Noise Pollution Control Rules, 2006. The mobile court was managed by Srivardi Upazila Executive Officer Mr. Nilufa Akhter.

A total of 4000/- rupees fine was levied and collected on 03 (three) vehicles in mobile court.Mr. Nayan Kumar Roy, Inspector of Department of Environment, Sherpur District Office, gave the prosecution in the mobile court. At this time awareness leaflets were distributed.
