Mobile court operated by Department of Environment, Sherpur District Office to control noise pollution.

On 27/10/2022 AD under the "Integrated and Partnership Project on Noise Pollution Control", Department of Environment, Sherpur District Office conducted a mobile court in Sherpur District, Ostmitla, Sherrybridge area of Sadar Upazila for violation of Noise Pollution Control Rules, 2006. The mobile court was managed by Sherpur District Administration Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Mr. Salauddin Biswas. A total of 3000/- rupees fine was levied and collected on 03 (three) vehicles in mobile court. Mr. Mohammad Al-Mahmood, Assistant Director of Sherpur District Office of Department of Environment, gave the prosecution in the mobile court.
